Tending to coral predation experiment.

ABOUT

I received my B.S. in Biology from the University of Florida in 2014. As an undergraduate and lab technician I researched coral-algal microbial interactions, density-dependent effects of worm-snail feeding on coral health, nutrient-driven increases in coral diseases and bleaching, and the impacts of sedimentation on reef herbivory. I joined the Burkepile Lab in 2015 as a National Science Foundation, Graduate Research Fellow.

My current research investigates how local anthropogenic stressors interact on multiple scales to alter coral reef communities. This includes how sedimentation, nutrient enrichment, and herbivory interact to change reef resilience.

When not in the field or crunching away at data, you might find me tidepooling, volunteering, hiking, or diving. Chances that I will simultaneously have a camera at hand are high.
